The RNA & Formulation Core (RFC) at the University of British Columbia is a non-profit facility dedicated to making RNA medicine development more accessible for academic and industry innovators.

  • World-leading capabilities in RNA delivery and formulation through close collaboration with the Cullis NanoMedicines Research Group.
  • Hundreds of custom RNA products manufactured annually, with deep expertise in saRNA development and characterization.
  • Active contributor to RNA benchmarking, standards development, and community-building initiatives that improve reproducibility across the field.
  • Establishing a seamless pathway from research-grade RNA to GMP manufacturing and clinical translation through alignment with UBC’s Advanced Therapeutics Manufacturing Facility (ATMF).
